Beginning April we came back to Spain from Morocco and stayed in Tarifa, rather small town in the Spanish coast. Tarifa is a town for surfers and hippies, it has a relaxed atmosphere, a right place to my folks. There are many eco- and ethnical shops, a town which has something European, something Moroccan. We stayed there the whole Easter wild camping on the beach, lovely! From Tarifa we drew in one time to Sevilla and decided to have some city days. From the campsite there was an easy buss connection to the city center of Sevilla and we went to explore the city. Sevilla has a quite nice center with many parks and gardens and it was nice to walk there and look around. Made some shopping, my boss found a shop which was selling her favorite shoe brand, el naturalista, and she couldn’t resist and bought two pairs. One pair of purple color and the other pair orange/red. We stayed three nights in Sevilla and drew to Portugal. My family didn’t know quite anything from Portugal and so far it has been such a positive surprise! People seem to be very friendly and they speak English, which they certainly did not in Spain and often we felt Spanish people quite rude.
Portuguese coast is fantastic! Much beaches and rocks, and this time of the year they are still quite empty (nice!). We have been wild camping in beaches and mountain villages, so far we haven’t had any camping. Portugal seems to be safe to park, haven’t heard any horror stories from camper attacks as you hear them from France and Spain. A country which definitely deserves a good explore!
