Dogs and parking places in Amsterdam

To have a dog in Finland or to have a dog in Amsterdam is quite not a same thing. In Finland you could never consider to take a dog with you in a bar or in many other public places, but here, dogs are often most welcome. Today we were again witnessing this with a big smile in one café. The owner and his dog came in and they BOTH took a seat, opposite of eachother, he had his lunch and doggy got a piece of his sandwich at the end. The dog was sitting in peace and quiet during the whole lunch :)

We also heard that dogs are welcome in all public transports, you just need to pay from your pet the same price as you would pay from your child, haha..

Other thing in here is parking problem - like in any other city. Streets are here often very narrow and there are just way too many cars. At least I saw it first time in my life that they have created these special lift spaces to create more place for cars, without taking the space from people. So everyone can walk smoothly and cars gets their own spots, in the air!

In this place they had two lifts behind eachother and I just needed to snap a picture and share it with you :)
